Congratulations, Tony Dickinson!
Tony first joined BGCCI’s board in 2010, and has been actively involved in the organization throughout his tenure. From community events to the Club gymnasium, Tony has been present and advocating for our mission.
Following his term as Board Chair in 2016, Tony served as Vice Chair for the Club Pathways campaign that raised nearly $17 million for three new Club sites in the Des Moines metro: the Gregory & Suzie Glazer Burt Club, E.T. Meredith Jr. Club and Studebaker Club.
Tony has been an incredible leader and mentor, not only for our youth, but for our staff, board members, and community. He truly embodies the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs by putting the needs of our kids and teens at the forefront. We are so grateful for his 12 years of service to our organization.
Tony will continue to serve and support BGCCI as a member of our Board of Trustees.
In addition, BGCCI will continue to work closely with NCMIC. Chick Herbert, Chief Experience Officer at NCMIC has stepped into Tony’s board position with BGCCI in February. NCMIC proudly serves organizations throughout the Des Moines community, and we are grateful for their continued support of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa.
